Welcome to the University Park Elementary Library!

Hello, I've been the new librarian at U.Park Elementary since last December. My real name is 
Carol Smallwood, but when you see comments posted here it will be signed as Arctic Bella. I'm very happy to be here, this is like coming home again, since both my daughters went here, from kindergarten thru 6th grade.

Get Johnny Reading!

Get Johnny Reading! This looks like a great blog link for getting boys to read. There's all kinds of ideas here to use, and I'll be checking it out more thoroughly, book ideas to try in our library and such. The books that boys like to read are many times some of the same books that our girls will be attracted to as well.
